Carmelle has been Bookkeeping for 19+ years. It all started very early in her career, where she was working in Accounting and enjoyed it, but because she had not experienced many other avenues yet, she was not ready to make it a career yet.
That is what compelled her to join temporary agencies so that she could explore and get a taste of other possible avenues of interest.
After many years of exploring, she decided that accounting was where she wanted to grow after all, and that is what she did. She then studied in Accounting to help get her started and was working in it immediately, thanks to the agencies, since they knew she was a fast learner and good worker. She continued to study in it while working in it and realized after a couple of years that bookkeeping was the next step in utilizing all the accounting functions, which was what she wanted to do. She also had the desire to create something to call her own.
That is when “Bookkeeping For Businesses” was born, It was 1999. Back then, there was not as many resources available as there are today and no internet yet, and so she had to learn the hard way. She also had to learn how to build a business without any prior experience or anyone to guide her, which is what caused her to become so resourceful and determined to learn how. She learned through trial and error as well as dedication and persistence, but also by working for so many different kinds of businesses.
